The Governor's Ride will roll into downtown Summersville around 4:30pm and the Freedom Rally celebrations will already be in full swing.
Main Street in Summersville will be the site of the Freeom Rally Ceremonies to honor our Country's Veterans, and other Emergency Service workers. Mayor Robert Shafer will greet the Governor and the rest of the Freedom Riders as they return from a long scenic ride to our neighboring towns. The Color Guard will Post the Colors and Govenror Manchin will take the stage to speak in recognition of those who risk their lives for the safety of our Country, our State, our County, and our Town. Governor Joe Manchin may highlight the ceremonies, but at 6:00pm "Hit and Run" will be taking the stage and taking over the show. Throughout the day, Main Street will be full of folks enjoying the many Art & Craft vendors as well as several great food options for everyone. |
